| On sunday there was a huge accident on one of the biggest highways in Canada, it just happens to be from Toronto, north to Cottage country. Just about 30 min north of Toronto, 3 vehicles were observed weaving in and out of heavy southbound traffic. The highway was very busy as it was the afternoon rush home from cottage country. It gets bumper-to-bumper all the way from Gravenhurst (over an hour north of the city), to Toronto. So these 3 vehicles were coming back from Wasaga Beach. They were piloted by kids in their late teens. Witnesses observed them aggressively weaving in and out of traffic. One was a Mustang GT (new body style), and one was a Grand AM (new body style) and the third was a VW Golf (new body style). Apparently the kids cause some sort of situation in which a 18 wheeler had to veere off the roadway in order to avoid killing these kids and others. The truck rolled and the driver was killed. It shut the highway down for the rest of the day, and thousands of people were stranded on the highway. 2 of the 3 drivers were caught and charged crimminally. There we go, they were labeled as 'racing' down the highway, when there were just driving aggressively, making very unsafe lane changes in very heavy traffic. It was not a 'race' in the sense that high speed was involved, nor was there a 'start and finish line', just dumb kids. So, now they will crack down even harder, as in the Toronto and surrounding area we continue to have kids involved in either racing or aggressive driving accidents. Only a handfull of them even involve modded cars at all.
